To celebrate Fall, the Mesquite Parks and Recreation Department teamed up with local businesses to launch a city-wide scavenger hunt called “Pumpkinpalooza.” Everyone participated in the search for the pumpkin displays. We created clues to help people find and take selfies with each pumpkin and to post them to the Pumpkinpalooza Facebook Event Page using the hashtags, #PumpkinPaloozaMesquite & #ShopMesquite. Participants who found and posted a selfie with every pumpkin were entered into a drawing for a grand prize package of gift cards valued at over $350!
